How Engraved started
Engraved was formed on October 8, 2023, in the basement of our drummer Xander’s house. While working on what would become our debut track, Unshaken, we invited Eva to contribute vocals. Her performance instantly clicked with the sound we were shaping, and from that moment, we knew we had the chemistry to become a band.
Our Ambitions
Engraved is driven by the desire to create music that connects—blending the raw energy of pop punk with heartfelt, relatable storytelling. We aim to turn our passion into our full-time career, touring around the world, meeting new people, and sharing our music with audiences everywhere. Our goal is to grow beyond our local scene, performing across Norway and eventually on international stages. We want to release original music that inspires, unites, and resonates with listeners, while building a loyal fanbase through authentic live shows and genuine connection. We’re committed to evolving our sound, pushing our creative limits, and leaving a lasting mark on the modern rock and pop punk landscape.

Engraved Beginnings
Within our first year as a band, we began writing and recording at Krutt Studio on Odderøya, owned by John Ronny Bø. There, we recorded our debut single Tell Me What For and our first EP, Engraved in Stone.

Band that inspire us
Influences
Engraved draws inspiration from a wide range of artists, blending the anthemic energy of Paramore, the punchy hooks of Settle Your Scores, the fresh pop punk vibe of South Arcade, and the empowering spirit of Meet Me at the Altar. We also take cues from the powerful riffs of Avenged Sevenfold, the iconic attitude of Blink-182, and the heartfelt lyricism of Neck Deep—shaping a sound that’s both nostalgic and modern.
